Laser Nun is the duo of Lars Bech Pilgaard (Svin, Sav) and Anders Vestergaard (Yes Deer). Their music is a clash of repetitive guitar riffs, adventurous drum beats, and ear-piercing feedback performed with a mix of omni-religious transcendence and laser-like stupidity.

The new album ‘Brother’ consists of to long ceremonial pieces with a somewhat spiritual connotation and a strong physical momentum. All the music was recorded at their rehearsal space in Copenhagen, mixed by Andreas Pallisgaard and is released by Insula Music on vinyl designed by Miki Skak.

Wonderful bent debut by a Danish drums/guitar duo. Careening along the knife edge between free rock and free jazz, the improvisation is aggressive and inventive in equal measures. The sound moves through various moods, from pure squall feedback and cluck to rumbling halos of distended almost-beauty. Good Collab” – The Wire
